Plan Your Travel

Day 1: Arrival into Stillness

Check-in | Acclimatize | Stargaze

As you drive into Rangrik, a new pace of life greets you. Crisp air, endless skies, and the serene silhouette of Key Monastery on the horizon.

At AMIDA, you are welcomed with warmth — in every sense. Enjoy a comforting sea buckthorn tea, slip into your heated suite, and unwind with panoramic views of the mountains.

Spend your evening in stillness. Breathe. Acclimatize. And when night falls, step out onto our terrace — the Milky Way awaits.

Day 2: Soul of Spiti — Monks, Mountains & Majesty

Key Monastery | Kibber Wildlife | Chicham Bridge

Wake up to the views of Key Monastery across the valley. After a wholesome breakfast, begin your exploration with Key Monastery, a 1,000-year-old marvel perched atop a hill — alive with chanting monks and golden morning light.

Continue to Kibber, a remote village that feels like the edge of the world. In winter, it becomes a snow leopard sanctuary; in summer, it’s alive with yaks, mountain goats, and high-altitude flora.

Then, feel your heart race as you cross the Chicham Bridge, suspended over a gorge so deep
it disappears into shadow — the highest bridge in Asia.

Day 3: Time Travel through the High Villages

Langza | Hikkim | Komic | Kaza Market

Today is a journey through altitude, fossils, and forgotten time. Start your morning in Langza, where a serene Buddha watches over an ancient seabed — still home to fossils embedded in the earth.

Next, visit Hikkim, where you can send a postcard from the world’s highest post office — an unforgettable memory to mail home. Then drive up to Komic, among the world’s highest inhabited villages, with jaw- ropping views and a tranquil monastery.

Return to Kaza in the evening, where the bustling local market await. Pick up handcrafted souvenirs.

Day 4: Valleys of Wonder & Whispering Monasteries

Pin Valley | Dhankar Monastery | Tabo / Nako (optional)

This day is for the wanderers and the wonderers. Head deep into the emerald embrace of Pin Valley — a hidden paradise with glacial rivers, flowering meadows, and the sleepy village of Mudh. Hike a little, pause a lot.

Then ascend to Dhankar Monastery, impossibly balanced on a cliff edge with breathtaking views of two converging rivers far below. Feel the silence echo through time.

If energy permits, extend your journey to Tabo Monastery, a 10th-century UNESCO treasure often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.” Or choose to drive further to Nako, with its peaceful lake and stone pathways.
